We guarantee that our 100% Made in the USA, 100% Made with DuPont™ Type 66-728 Nylon are the best Baseball Batting Cages available.

Our nylon cages are made from the strongest and best DuPont™ Type 66-728 nylon that is much stronger than type 6 Nylon, all import cages and some US made cages are made from type 6 Nylon.

Our nylon batting cages are made with heavy duty 3/8" nylon border ropes (3,600 lb. breaking strength), again made from DuPont™ type 66-728 nylon. There are three ropes running from front to back, one on each side and one in the middle, each with a 6' tie off tail at both ends, all four corners have ropes with a 6' tail on each corner, border ropes are strung through netting and hand sewn in place to prevent any slippage.

All our nylon cages are black in color with UV inhibitors and a water repellent coating to minimize water absorption.

Nylon holds up well against abrasion

Size for Size Nylon will give you more years of use than any other batting cage material but you also need to consider size of the twine, a #42 Poly-E cage has about the same strength as a #21 Nylon cage but since the #42 Poly-E has twice as much material as the #21 Nylon it will last as long or possibly even longer.

Poly-E:

Poly-E is about 1/2 the strength of nylon.

Poly-E is naturally water repellent.

Poly-E holds up well against abrasion

Whether you buy Nylon or Poly, we recommend you never buy the following:

1. Nylon cages with Polypropylene ropes, polypropylene degrades fast in sunny areas.
2. Polypropylene cages, make sure your cage is nylon or polyethylene.
3. Knotless or Knitted, knotted cages will last longer.
4. Light color cages, make sure your cage is black or a dark color, it will last longer.
