Square Mesh:

When you order square mesh netting it will measure exactly how you order it.

When using square mesh it is not necessary to use rope borders.

The biggest advantage of square mesh netting is how it looks when hung in place, it always looks good and it's easy to install.

When hanging diamond mesh netting you will need a rope border, it's best to have all four sides hung on rope, you will need to have a rope border on at least the top.

Border ropes are sold as an option. If ordering via shopping cart, after selecting your net size and adding it to your cart, continue shopping and choose the "Border Rope" link. Specify which side(s) and the total length of the border rope.

Diamond Mesh:

If you order a 10' x 10' piece of diamond mesh netting, it will measure a little over 14' by less than 1' wide. You can stretch this netting to 13' x 7', 12' x 8', or 9' x 11' or anything between.

Alternatives to rope borders are zip ties, cable ties or other fasteners but you will need to attach netting often so it doesn't droop too much.

The cost of diamond mesh netting with borders is usually lower than square mesh netting without borders.
